Synopsis: The Primus extracts a Mixed Yuan Bead into a spirit bead and a demon bead. The spirit bead can be reincarnated in human to help King Zhou establish a new dynasty, the demon bead will create a devil and harmful human. Ne Zha is the one who should be spirit bead hero but he becomes a devil incarnate, because the spirit bead and the demon bead is switched. Ne Zha is born with a "cursed destiny". He is unfairly treated by local villagers who believe that the naughty, yet good-hearted, child will grow up to be a public threat. Faced with the misunderstandings of the public and the destiny of being destroyed, will Ne Zha be fated to become a demon? Or will there be other favorable turns?

It is reported that Ne Zha's takings totaled over 100 million yuan in the first day itself, surpassing the threshold figure faster than any other Chinese animated film. Until now, it has grossed over 3.5 billion yuan, a big winner in this summer's box office.

Synopsis: Monkey King, also known as Sun Wukong, is a main character in the classical Chinese epic novel Journey to the West. Annoyed at being unable to find a suitable weapon for himself, Wukong visits the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea for a possible weapon. Wukong finally takes the cudgel which is used by the gods to pin down the sea during the great floods. The Dragon King, not expecting Wukong to be actually able to take the great treasure, demands it back, but Wukong rebukes him. The Dragon King goes to Heaven and petitions the Jade Emperor of heaven for the return of the pillar and to punish Wukong. The Emperor of Heaven gives Wukong the job of Protector of the Horses. Knowing it is the lowest job in heaven, Wukong is furious and goes back to his mountain to rebel against the Heaven. The Heaven has no choice but to recognize him as the "Great Sage, Equal of Heaven"; however, they try again to put him off as the guardian of Heavenly Garden. When he finds that he is excluded from a royal banquet that included every other important god and goddess, Wukong's indignation again turned to open defiance.

Synopsis: Monk Tang and his three disciples need to pass through a fiery mountain which can only be extinguished by the magical fan of the Princess. However, the Princess does not want to lend the magical fan. Therefore, Wukong changes his appearance into her husband Bull Demon King and successively gets the fan, but the fan is cheated back by Bull Demon King later. After several rounds of matching magical powers, Wukong eventually gets the magical fan and quenches the fire, continuing their journey to the west.

This is the first full-length cartoon in China. And the film aims to encourage the whole nation by the depiction of the image of Wukong. The Japanese famous cartoonist Osamu Tezuka was right influenced by this film and determined to take up the cartoon production career.
